How do I choose my vegetables?

When you sign up for a share, an online account is created for you where you can select your weekly veggies. Here you can pre-order the veggies you want and buy extra veggies as needed.  Sign in by following the link in your weekly newsletter or by clicking on “My CSA Account” on the navigation bar of our website.  Then select the veggies you want by putting them in your “cart” and “checking out”.  Since you have pre-paid for your share you won’t be charged at checkout unless you’ve opted to purchase extra veggies. Always check to make sure that you get an email confirming your order. If you don’t receive this email, log back into your account to make sure that you’re order was received.

FOR TUESDAY PICK UP: Order between 7 pm Thursday and 7 am Monday.

FOR FRIDAY PICK UP: Order between 7 pm Monday and 7 am Thursday.


What happens if I forget to order my veggies?

If you forget to order your veggies during the ordering hours, no worries!  A bag of carefully selected “farmer’s choice” veggies will await you at your pick up site.  We do our best to choose veggies that are especially tasty and commonly liked (no bags of entirely kohlrabi and cabbage here!).


Do I have to choose my veggies? Can I get a “farmer’s choice” CSA share?

You do not have to choose your veggies if you don’t want to.  You can get a traditional style “farmers choice” CSA.  Simply show up to your pick up site during open hours and a bag of tasty seasonal veggies will be waiting for you.  You can opt in or out of choosing your own veggies at any time.


Can I buy extra vegetables with my share?

Yes. You can buy extra veggies by pre-ordering them from the “Farm Store” section of your account. They will be included in your bag(s) at pick up. The “Farm Store” selection is variable and depends on what’s abundant in our fields, so don’t count on it as a substitute for a larger CSA share.


Can I change or add to my weekly share after ordering hours?

No.  The ordering hours allow us lead time for harvest and packaging and we are not equipped to accommodate special requests after they are over.  We appreciate your understanding!


I didn’t get the vegetables I ordered in my share. How come?

This happens when your order doesn’t get finalized, either because you didn’t click the “place order” button or due to a glitch in internet access.  Check to make sure that you receive an “order confirmed” email to avoid this problem.


I forgot to pick up my share, can I still get it?

Yes. Shares can be picked up the day after your usual pick up time, though open hours vary depending on your pick up location.  After these hours we cannot hold or replace your share.

Next day pick up hours by location:

Full Plate Farm Tuesday: Wednesday 9 am – 6:30 pm

Full Plate Farm Friday: Saturday 9 am - 6:30 pm

Downtown Brattleboro: Pick up at the farm on Wednesday, 9 am - 6:30 pm

Marlboro:  Saturday, pick up as soon as you are able. No overnight refrigeration here.


What should I do if I can’t pick up my veggies at my usual time?

First, plan ahead and find a friend or neighbor to pick up your share. This is a great way to build community! If you can’t find someone else to pick up your share, you can log into your account and put a hold on your share for the week(s) you will be away and reschedule it for another week(s).  Remember that you can always pick up your share the day after your regular pick up time (see hours above).


How does placing a hold on my share work and how do I do it?

Placing a hold will stop your share for the week that you are unable to pick up. You can then reschedule that share for a future date. Basically, when you place a hold and reschedule, you are skipping a week’s share and receiving an additional share another week.

To place a hold on your share, log in to your account and click the “delivery hold” tab. Enter the date you do NOT want to receive your share and click save. Then enter the date you would like to get an additional share. Remember to click save again. You will receive an email confirming your delivery hold request. If you do not receive this email, please log in and try again.


I can’t remember what share size and season I signed up for. How do I find this out?

Your share size and season are listed in two places: on the order label attached to your weekly share and on your account dashboard.
